Many can teach CIE Physics. I take responsibility for your child.

I decide what he studies, make sure he does it, check that he does it right, and tell you every week where he stands.

This is what parents tell me, almost word for word.

This is what parents tell me, almost word for word.

"He's home all day. His phone is in his hand. He says he studied."

"I ask him. He says yes. I have no way to check."

"We tried tuition before. Classes happened. I never knew if anything was landing — until the test came back."

I've heard this for fifteen years. It's almost never because the child is lazy, and it's almost never because the parent isn't doing enough.

I've heard this for fifteen years. It's almost never because the child is lazy, and it's almost never because the parent isn't doing enough.

It's because nobody was deciding what he should do each day, checking that he did it, and telling you — while there was still time to fix it.

Here's what happens every week from day one

Every morning

— a worksheet reaches him. He doesn't decide what to study. I do.

Always available

— every class recorded, with chapter notes. If he misses a class or wants a topic again, it's there.

Every Sunday

— a written report reaches you. What he did, what he missed, what he's stuck on, what we're fixing next

— and what to ask him this week, and what not to ask.

Every class

— Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 to 8:00 PM. It opens with a 15-minute quiz, so I know what didn't land before I teach the next topic.

Every 15 days

— a full-length test with real Cambridge past-year questions.

Marked by me, with a breakdown of where the marks went — concept or careless.

Ten minutes of your week. The rest is mine.

I teach a small number of students at a time. Every IGCSE student I've taught this year has continued with me into A-Level.

Fifteen years teaching CIE Physics. Students in the UAE, UK, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, the US and India. Every session taught by me — no assistant teachers.

  • “My son has been with Adil since his O-Levels and is now continuing into A-Levels. Throughout, he’s shown real professionalism, patience, and deep subject expertise — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any student looking for an outstanding Physics tutor.”

    — Mary, parent (Siddhartha’s mom — O-Level to A-Level)

  • “My daughter feels more confident answering exam questions and has better grasp of the exam’s expectations. We plan to continue taking lessons with Adil as we move into A Levels next.”

Written report every Sunday

Most students don’t fail physics because they don’t understand it.

They fail because nobody showed them how the exam thinks.

• Revising without structure
• Practising without feedback
• Losing method marks on Physics they already know

That's fixed by a System — not more hours.

The A* Pathway — how it works

01

Diagnose

Before anything else, I find the actual gap — not “he is weak in physics,” but the specific habit costing marks. You get that assessment in plain language, free.

02

Structure

A written week-by-week plan mapped to the CIE 9702 syllabus, shared with you on day one. You always know what’s coming next.

03

Practise & Mark

A past-paper assignment every week, marked by me using examiner mark scheme language — where marks were lost, and why.

04

Track

A written progress report every 4 weeks: topics covered, current predicted grade, specific weaknesses, next steps.

Everything in the programme

Live classes Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30–8:00 PM — taught by me, every session

Daily worksheets sent every morning — current chapter plus older topics

15-minute quiz opening every class

Full-length test every 15 days with real Cambridge past-year questions

Error breakdown — where the marks went, concept or careless

Optional doubt session every Sunday

Written parent report every Sunday

WhatsApp doubt support between classes

Included at no extra cost

The Class Vault — every session recorded, plus chapter notes as PDF (AED 400)

The Recall Pack — formula sheets and definitions, every chapter (AED 250)

The Parent's Weekly Script — what to ask him, what not to ask (AED 150)

The 15 Command Words Card — every command word Cambridge uses (AED 100)

AED 900 of material. Included.

Sessions run live. If a student misses one, the recording keeps them on track — which is why students in different time zones do well here.

IGCSE Physics — batch opening mid-October

The A-Level batch starts now. The IGCSE batch opens after the October break, which gives those students seven months before the May/June exams.

Same system. Same daily work, same fortnightly tests, same Sunday report to you.

About

I'm Shaikh Adil, founder of Shaikh Physics Academy.

I teach CIE A-Level and IGCSE Physics to students across the UAE, UK and beyond — including Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, the US and India.

Physics isn't hard because students lack ability. It's hard because it's usually taught as content to memorise, not a way of thinking.

My programmes fix the method — so students stop guessing at questions and start reading them properly. Every student gets a plan, marked work every week, and a report you can actually check progress against.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from regular tutoring?

My child is quiet. Will he get lost in a group?

What if he doesn't do the work?

Why is there a test every 15 days? Isn't that a lot of pressure?

What if he misses a class?

Can we change the class timings?

What happens in the free diagnostic call?

What if it isn't working?

Start with a free diagnostic call

Twenty minutes. I'll ask about his current marks, tell you exactly where the gap is, and what it takes to close it — whether or not you choose to work with me.

Your child can score an A* if he does the work. My job is making sure he does it.
